Has anyone heard a story of 100+ people of Cormackstown,Holycross(a few miles from Thurles) County Tipperary boarding a train one day during the famine for Cork where they boarded a ship for the USA? I believe my Ryans were on that train and ship. I don't know the date and where that ship may have originated. Anyone with any knowledge of this event or how I can ascertain information to further my search, please contact me.
