    3. Hi Barbara, I noticed that you're searching for CORRIGAN and can't remember if I contacted you before. My great-grandmother, ANNE CORRIGAN married STEPHEN CONNORS at Borrisokane, Tipperary in 1845, their son JAMES, my grandfather, was born near there in 1857. He ended up in CT and in the early 1900's his daughter ANN used to visit their CORRIGAN relatives in NYC. By this time CONNORS had been changed to O'CONNOR. Ann's daughted gave me this info and the only thing she knew about the CORRIGAN family was that they were involved with sounding boards.( a structure behind or over a pulpit, rostrum, or platform to give distinctness and sonority to sound) I understand that they were used at the Metropolitan Opera. I also have a QUINN, I found my GGF PATRICK GAYNOR buried at Calvary and in the same plot was a THOMAS GAYNOR and his wife MARGARET QUINN. I have Margaret''s DC, her parents were JOHN C QUINN and NANCY WARD, all were born in Ireland. I'm looking for more info on CORIGAN in Tipperary and NYC and have more data on MARGARET QUINN if it's of any interest to you. Cheers, Ted Schmitz, Las Cruces, NM
