Bill If your date meant 10th February 1927 (the rather strange American way of putting dates (at least to us Europeans!) then that was a Thursday. If you meant 2nd November 1927 then this was a Sunday. No great magic here - just using the calendar part of an email program "Outlook" Hope you are successful Terry -----Original Message----- From: RWBOYLAN@aol.com [mailto:RWBOYLAN@aol.com] Sent: 22 May 2002 17:03 To: IRISH-NEW-YORK-CITY-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [IRISH-NYC] Figuring Out Dates Could someone please help me with a research question? I have an obit dated 2.10.27 (1927) that states that the person died "on Tuesday." Is there an easy way I can figure out what day of the week that 2.10.27 fell on, so I can calculate the Date of Death?
