There is still a chance that it may pop up again, and here's how: The thread entitled '19th WARD RC CHURCH' was in Chinese. If you answer on that thread by hitting your Reply button, your message will pick up the Chinese charset from the original message. However, if you care to answer on that thread, please start a brand new email. (You can leave the same subject line if you wish.) As Bob pointed out, it appeared that he was sending in Chinese simply because he hit the Reply button. That's how it propagates. But the list is fine and healthy, and the charset problem has been fixed. I want to thank everyone who contacted me on and off list with help and advice.
