Hi Rosaleen, Now I cannot recall if your COSTELLO family emigrated to New York or to Philadelphia. But my own COSTELLO family in New York City had relatives named Walsh in Claremorris, County Mayo. James COSTELLO and D. WALSH were witnesses at the marriage of Mary COSTELLO and Mathew HIGGINS in Claremorris in 1823. And my LYNCH family in New York, whose daughter married a Costello, had another daughter who married a SULLIVAN in Ireland before the LYNCH family all emigrated to New York in 1883.
