My great-great grandfather, LUKE CRANNEY arrived in Albany, NY at the end of 1870. This is before Ellis Island opened. He must have docked in New York City somewhere. He probably lived there before coming to Albany, NY. Is there any way I can find where his ship would have arrived. Also, is there a list of all ships and passengers arriving in New York in 1870? Luke was with his wife Lucy and baby Mary. They immigrated from Liverpool, Ireland. Thank you very much Regina Cranney
