Michael LARKIN & Mary REGAN of Roscommon had the following (known) children: Bridget, John and Michael. John LARKIN (b circa 1860) emigrated to NYC (with sister Bridget) around 1881. He married Mary ? and they moved to the Brooklyn Heights area. Their children: John Jr, Elizabeth (Lizzie) and Mary. Lizzie and Mary married and moved to NJ. Have no idea what happened to John Jr. We believe this family eventually moved out to Bay Ridge. Have no idea when John Sr died or where he's buried - probably Holy Cross. Related surnames to this family: FORGASH, CORONA Michael LARKIN (b abt 1865) emigrated to NYC in 1891 with his wife, Bridget ?. John paid for the voyage. Michael settled in Brooklyn Heights (next door to John) until after 1900. Michael's children: James, Mary and Michael. Have only recently discovered Michael, so I know nothing about him. Don't know when he died or where he's buried. The above LARKIN families are rumored to have had relatives in Brewster, Putnam County, NY. They supposedly owned a huge farm.
