I wrote to St Michaels Catholic church requesting baptism records with a donation. A week later I received a reply that they could not find anything and thanks for the donation. Recently I contacted them again, looking for information about a marriage certificate from St Michaels in 1862. I've been trying to find where in Ireland they were from and someone mentioned the priest would have asked what church they were baptised in, so maybe this would tell me where in Ireland. I got a call this time from the priest there who said they did not have records that far back at all.
