    2. Membership records from the early days of the Ancient Order of Hibernians are rare. The group operated in secrecy in the beginning, so most (if not all) early records have been destroyed. However, you can find old copies of the National Hibernian (the bi-monthly newspaper) on microfilm. The National Hibernian carried obituaries of leaders.
