Bernard LYNCH, b circa 1831 Ireland (possibly Tuam, Galway), emigrated to NYC around 1882 with son Martin (b circa 1862). Martin married Bridget LARKIN, circa 1885, and the family moved to the Brooklyn Heights area. Bernard died in 1893. Martin & Bridget's children: Bernard b 1886, Margaret b 1888, Michael b Oct 1890, John b 1891, Addie/Abbie b 1895, Annie b 1898 and James b 1901. (All dates approximate except for Michael.) Martin & Bridget owned a boarding house at 144 Bergen Street, from approximately 1920 until their deaths in the 1930s. They're all buried in Holy Cross Cemetery.
