Mario, Thank you for offering to see if my Timmerman appears at the Hall of Records at 31 Chambers Street. Of the seven Timmermans who appear on the interment list from Calvary Cemetery the one I'm most interested in at this time is Catherine Timmerman, who was buried July 16, 1915. Her age at death was 75 years and she was born in Ireland. I've received several records from Chambers Street for other ancestors. I've really got to take a ride there some day and see the place for myself. And for Wayne and others who could use the information, It cost $62.00 for my interment list from Calvary; $20.00 for the first name and $2.00 per person after that. It took about six weeks (they had said it would take two to three) There were 22 people buried in the four plots and because I had no idea who they were I wasn't able to pick and choose. I had gotten the address and phone number of the cemetery from this list. It's 49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd., Woodside, NY 11377, 718-786-8000. I already had the date of death and burial from the death certificate I got from Chambers Street for my great grandfather, James McLaughlin. I believe the cemetery plots were bought by his grandfather, who was also James McLaughlin. I called the cemetery, and with the information from the death certificate, a very helpful lady looked up the cemetery info. She gave me the section, range and plot numbers, the date the plots were bought (Jan. 9, 1860), told me how many people were buried in those plots, and exactly how to request the interment list and what the cost would be. I then snail-mailed the request with the check. It was well worth the wait. For those who haven't seen the website for the Dept. of Records and Information Services (DORIS) at Chambers Street here is the link http://www.ci.nyc.ny.us/html/doris/home.html This is one of the best sites I've seen. I have gotten so much help from this list I hope this information will repay some and help others benefit as I have. Happy hunting! Barb in CT
