Margaret HIGGINS (b. abt. 1800-1820) married Charles COSTELLO (b. abt. 1795- 1815) in the 1820s-1830s in County Mayo or County Galway, Ireland. Two known children are Edward COSTELLO and William COSTELLO b. 1830s, who later emigrated to New York City after 1853. Margaret HIGGINS may have been the sister of Mathew HIGGINS, who married Mary COSTELLO of Claremorris, County Mayo. Mary COSTELLO was the sister of James COSTELLO and Charles COSTELLO, above. Charles COSTELLO's father, his brother, and his nephew Thomas A. COSTELLO owned William Costello and Sons, a large tobacco company founded in 1820 in Galway ..... located in late 1800s at 10 High St. and located early 1900s on Victoria St. in Galway. I do not know if Charles COSTELLO was associated with this company. Charles COSTELLO and Mary HIGGINS both died sometime between 1838-1848.
