I have two letters handwritten by Thomas A. COSTELLO (b. ca. 1852) of the William Costello and Sons tobacco company in Galway, Ireland. The letters are dated 1889 and 1907 and written on the business letterhead. The second letter discusses Thomas's son and daughter who have died and his five living children: William COSTELLO (the eldest, in 'America' ), Charlie COSTELLO (working in the family business), Guy or Goy or Gay COSTELLO (an engineer in Athlone), Joe COSTELLO (an MD in Cardiff, South Wales), and Bess COSTELLO (the youngest & only daughter).
