Has anyone purchased an Irish BMD cert recently? On a recent trip into the Registrars office here in Wexford this last week, I was advised that the cost of Birth Certs etc. has increased from ?6.90 (that's 6 euros and 90 cents.) to ?8 (8 euros) plus a ?2 (2 euros) search fee. Overall it has been due for an increase for some time, which now makes it comparable to the cost of Certs. issued in the UK. They now also have facilities for Credit/Debit cards but DO NOT accept them over the Internet. (I'm not sure about over the phone in all honesty.) slan Cyril Newsome Loch Garman
