    2. Hi PatLong time! They used to send obituaries that had the person's place from Ireland. Most of them gave the age at death and at least the county they originally came from. Sometimes it named parents but rarely.Very helpful giving a place to start looking in Ireland, and an approximate date of birth.Kathy   1. me again (Pat Connors) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Wed, 6 Mar 2019 12:38:25 -0800 From: Pat Connors <nymets11@pacbell.net> Subject: [IRISH-AMER-OBITS] me again To: irish-american-obituaries@rootsweb.com Message-ID: <3b6b8d38-13b3-91eb-73d6-07be873a63ca@pacbell.net> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8; format=flowed I found this list stranded without a list admin/owner and took it over but really have never been a member of it.  Someone started it so must have had something in mind for it.  We have 163 subscribers to this list and I am wondering if some of you can tell me how this list ran. Like: Elizabeth Clarke Dignan born September 13, 1870 in Longford Co. Ireland, to John Clarke and Bridget Young, died in Long Beach, California on November 7, 1953 at the age of 83. Elizabeth had 2 brothers, Michael and Bernard, and 3 sisters, Kate, Mariah and Anne. . 3. RE: Edward Dugan/Mary Jane Coppock Names of Parents Place of Deaths & Burial (Obituaries) I am researching Edward Dugan and Mary Jane Coppock from Middletown /Media, Delaware Co., Pennsylvania. I am seeking the parents names of both Edward and Mary, when they died, and where they were buried. I have reviewed the federal censuses for the years; 1850,60,70,80 Edward Dugan and Mary and few city directories. Edward was married twice. First, to Mary Jane Coppock date unknown. Mary Coppock DUGAN died 11 Jan 1868 (Delaware County American, dated 22 January 1868). Edward's second marriage was in Oct 1869 (according to the 1870 Census) He married Catherine E. (Surname unknown). Online resources such as; < http://delawarecolib.newspaperarchive.com/birthdaynewspaper> are very limited in search features for birth, marriage, death notices and obituaries but many of the newspaper are not available online for the time frame I am interested in locating, some of the years are missing.
