Hi all, John J. O'Malley came to Madison Co NY in 1856. He was born in 1839. He married Bridget Lynch and they had 2 daughtrs in Madison Co. NY and then I find him in Rock Co, Wisconsin in 1864. He is my gr-grandfather. Searching for the townland in Ireland so that I cam visit his homeland. I couldn't find the family on the NY 1860 census. His naturalization papers state he is from Great Britain. Ireland is on his death ceritificate as his birthplace. Mary Kay in So. Wisconsin
