Bev Ellison and Anthony Roche as well as hundreds of others (and the FHC of LDS), I have been able to trace my immediate family back to Ireland in 1790. As part of this research, I have identified over 100 other surnames thru marriage, sponsers, god-parents etc. If you go to the Other Surnames section, you will possibly be able to find some ancestors. I have also found FOTTRELL branches in Belgium and Australia as well as at least three branches in the United States. I wish you good luck.
