I was there in summer 2002 and last year. It is very close to the World Trade Center and the whole area is very emotional. I was there to in the summer of 2002. Went on the Jeannie Johnston and then to the Irish Memorial. It was very sad and somehow telling, coming from an Irish immigrant family. I, too went to the WTC that day and left a message on the wall. Read many others and had an emotional experience that was quite raw.
