Can someone tell me can you take a PDF file (a census image) and convert it to a jpg or bmp so that it can be displayed on a personal family home page? thanks for any advice Leigh
I put 'pdf convert to jpg' in google and got a number of hits, here's a couple. Aldo's Text-PDF PRO+ 2.1, quick look show a free version you can download http://www.aldostools.com/pdf.html Here's one you can try before buying http://www.eprintdriver.com/to_jpeg/PDF-to-JPEG-ex.html Another http://www.verypdf.com/pdf2tif/pdf-to-jpg.html -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com All outgoing mail virus free, scanned by Norton
Leigh, I know onAncestry.com when you view the image, to the right there is an icon of a disk to save the image, it is saved as a .jpg file. I have done this on several occasions and have several on my site.
