Jerry, Thanks very much for the information. I do not know much about my Holloway/Holway ancestors. My 2nd Great-Grandmother was Eliza Holloway born in about the 1830s. She married Patrick Burke in County Tipperary. I have heard that there might have been a Holloway/Holway cousin that was a bishop in Ireland. I am guessing in the 19th century. I am also guessing that the Holloways might have come from Galway or Mayo at some point but I really have no idea. If you find any additional information I would be eager to hear about it.
