Linda, Just a thought - One possible wife was Mary Helen and one possible wife was Marie E. If the second name was Marie Eileen, the first name could have been an anglicized version of the second name. Marie = Mary Eileen = Little Helen If this hypothosis is correct, they may have been the same person. The Irish always seemed to "play" with the given names.
