I found them on ancestry.com and ordered the records from the National Archives hoping it would give me more info, spicifically what county in Ireland they came from. It only gave me the info I already had. I was wondering if anyone knows if they would have been naturilized when they arrived in New York and if so where I can find those records. They arrived in Jan. 1850 on the ship David Cannon. The surname was Bennett and there were 7 members of the family. I know that one of them was in York county in 1851 but not sure about the rest.
