Yes, I remember when they were down. I just love the SeanRuad site, it is so much more handy than taking out the book. However, there are some mistakes, so one should also check the book when in doubt. What I really like about the site, is how one can look at civil parishes and all the townland located in it. The counties that I research (where my ancestors were from) I have printed most of the civil parish pages and have them in large three ring binders. I then put notes on the civil parishes, like the years of the Griffith's Valuation and the Tithe Applotments. I am working on new tithes and needed to print out some pages, well, guess I'll have to wait a couple of days to print out the civil parishes that I am transcribing. I did use the Irish Times site to get a list of the townlands but not as nice as SeanRuad. I have been unable to get on to Sean Ruad about an hour ago- Can get on to > all other sites I wanted so it looks like it is down.
