In 1975, Paul HILL, a 21-year-old man from Northern Ireland, was sentenced to a lifetime in prison for pub bombings in Britain. It was the longest such sentence by a British court. As the years were taken from him, Hill could do nothing but hold onto his innocence. Fifteen years later, including four years in solitary confinement, Hill was set free when the British government finally admitted that officers lied at the original trial.
