The townland of Urra occupies the entire broad peninsula (nearly a square mile) which forms the north shore of Dromineer Bay. As the entire townland is either on top of, or on the slopes of, Urra Hill, the valley mentioned must be the narrow valley along the small stream which completely isolates the townland from the rest of Tipperary.
