Dear List... Could anyone out there explain what the abbreviation Rhd means? I thought it meant Richard but now I am not to sure. Below are the two bits of information I found which uses it. Croasdaile (Rhd) Richard of Corbally, Queens Co. to miss Dunn of the same place-24 Oct. 1774 Croasdaile (Rhd) Rynn-Miss Sandys d. of Lancelot. Kilcaven, Queens Co. 10 Sept. 1775 I am assuming the first is a marriage announcement and the second is possibly one also. Does the "d" in the second one mean "daughter of" Lancelot?
