Hi, Perhaps you are looking for Monaughrim Townland, 982 acres in Co. Carlow, Civil Parish of Moyacomb, Poor Law Union of Shillelagh, Barony St. Mullin's Upper, Province of Leinster. That would agree with the fact that there is also a Ballypierce Townland in Co. Carlow, same PLU, same Barony, but in the Civil Parish of Barragh. Note, your Co. Louth is also in the Province of Leinster. (There is also placenames of Ballypierce for Cos. Cork & Limerick, but I imagine what you are referring to is Co.
