    3. Hello all, It's been awhile since I've posted my interests, so here they are... KIRK, Michael (born 1773 in Ireland) and his wife, Margaret (b.1790 IRL). Their tombstone says Connaught, Ireland. They emigrated to Ste. Sophie, Quebec, Canada before 1828 (when James was born) with their children (birth order unknown): John (b.1811 IRL), Michael, Mary, and Nancy. Their son, James, was born in Quebec in 1828. We believe another son, Edward, went to New Zealand. They were Roman Catholic. Oral history suggests they may have come from Sligo, but no records were found at the Sligo Heritage Centre. Locations of BDM records in Quebec, Canada: Ste. Sophie New Glasgow Ste-Anne des Plaines St. Louis de Terrebonne/Terrebonne St. Lin St. Jerome St. Janvier [Anyone else researching in these areas?] Would love to know where they came from in Ireland. Thanks for any help, Margaret kirkm@teleport.com KIRK/SCULLY (MULLEN), REID/TAHANY MEEHAN/SAVAGE>QUINLAN, TONER/KEARNEY>MURRAY, IRVING
