Hello List I have recently discovered that my ggggrand parents were from Ireland. This is confirmed by the 1851 census but I don't where from. John and Jane Rodger married in Ireland and went to Liverpool. I don't know if their son Benjamin was born in Ireland or Liverpool. The 1851 census says Ireland the later census say Liverpool. He was Christened at SS Peter and Paul in Liverpool 1833 and by 1862 was using the name Rogers. John had died by 1851 and I don't know where they were living in 1841 to look.
