Some of my relations have the name of MUSCHAMP, I was told by my Grandmother that it was French. When I looked it up on Ask Jeeves it told me that it was Irish. Could sks please tell me for sure whether it is French or Irish please? Diane Sowden
Hello Listers, To identify your family positivly here in Ireland it is a great help if you have the name of a "Townland" To help you with your research I have added an index to every townland in the Province of Ulster alphabetically by County. This can be accessed at www.ulsterancestry.com by clicking on the link button "Townlands of Ireland" I hope this will help all you researchers in your quest!
