Thank you!!!! I wondered if anyone was going to come up with the main reason so many people left Scotland to go to Ireland. Mine stayed a good many years in Ireland and raised a family before coming to the USA with all his adult children. One son came before his father and bought land in Washington DC. (Foggy Bottom) They must not have been to poor to be able to purchase land when they arrived here. If anyone is researching the sirname RUSK please contact me. Margie in MD
