Hi, My g-grandfather was a Barnett, had red hair, as do I, and is said he was Irish. His wife was a McMURRY. I'm trying to find out any information that I can on these surnames in Ireland, as where did the names originate, what areas of Ireland are they most prominent, history of the names, different spellings, and are these names associated wit any other Irish families or Irish clans. Thanks, Don Byars, an Irish descendant --------------------------------- Yahoo! Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free.
You might look for a Russ McMurry in or around Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He uses/used this spelling of McMurry.
