    3. Hi, Blarney was a village, in the parish of Garrycloyne, Barony of East Muskerry, County Cork. It is about 5 miles from Cork City. I have written letters and visited churches but did not find any info. I never did look at St. Mary's Shandon in Cork City. Cork City does not have any info on line and will not have it together for another 6-8 years. This may not be an area that you have info about. Blarney is where the castle is now and Blarney Woolen Mills. I guess it is still considered a village.
