Hi Cara, I am resarching for Michael or James LYNCHEY or similar and wife Sarah or Mary MULLEN or similar. Sarah or Mary LYNCHEY and son Thomas sentenced at Castle Rushen (Isle of Man) Nov. 1833, transported 1835. She took a son and 2 daughters (free) with her to OZZ, the convict indent stated that she was a Roman Catholic and a widow. Documents here say she was born in County Down and it is likely that she was married and had some, at least, of her children in Ireland.
