    3. Thanks to your info, Cara, but add to the SLOWEY equivalents Sloy and - believe it or not - Molloy (from Mac Sluaghadhaigh). My John S. is not likely to have been represented by any of these Slowey householders since he was no more than 19 in the years 1858 to 1869 when the GV was done in Monaghan. GV-- You mean Griffiths Valuation ? this wasnt taken from that source its taken and based on Parish Registers in the area with those names found in them and the Monaghan Slowey households would therefore covered your lad if he was indeed born in the area ..........
