Although I have known for more than three years that my 4 great grandfather originated in Ireland, according to the marriage certificate of his son, I have been unable to trace the family there. Can I ask you for a stab in the dark, who knows I may just be lucky! Samuel JOBE possible born about 1800 +/- Ireland married to unknown and his son, Samuel JOBE born 1824-1828 in Ireland. According to his marriage certificate in 1859 Northumberland, England he was 35 yrs therefore born 1824 however on future Northumberland census his age varies from 1824-1828 born Ireland Can you offer me a glimmer of hope?
