I'm trying to compare the marriage records of 2 sisters to determine their mother's surname. One looks like Dowbey the other like Denolly or Denelly. I'm guessing Donolly. Is anone familiar enough with Irish surnames to make a good guess?

In looking at the book Irish families by Edward MacLysaght I find the name O'Donnelly, but remember not everyone was well educated and spelled names the way they sounded to them.
