Hi. We were there last summer and spent most of our time with relatives in Bangor. We B & B'd it the whole two weeks from West, South and North. Every B & B we stayed at was better than the last one, I can only suggest you do NOT go to North Ireland during the Orangeman's celebration, which is usually around the 14th July. Alot of places will be closed and even some of your B &B's take vacation then (they go South and West) and you will not be able to get a place to stay. We went to Carafrickus to see where Andrew Jackson (our early President) was born and the museum that was put there in his honor (he started the Army Rangers in the USA) was closed and we were very disappointed. Hope this helps and that you have a good trip. We hope to go back and do the North.
