Hi there everybody!! I need some help. I'm in Toronto-Canada, and have come across a woman and am at a brickwall so far, with researching her. Here's what I've got! Margret Feltis, b. Abt 1812 Ireland. Came to Canada about 1830's, and was married in York County, Toronto May 31st, 1839 to Joseph Stoneham. She is Listed as a Seamstress and Milliner in some Census', in Canada. She moved to Simcoe County in Ontario and there are two other Feltis families in this area. James and Henry Feltis...they don't seem to be as old as she is. I know Feltis isn't a very common name. I am crossing my fingers and hoping with all my might...that there is some sort of General Ireland Directories for back in 1812 -1820 or something, that might perhaps help me. Or someone will be researching this family too, and have a match of sorts....Or perhaps an early birth index (wishful thinking, I know).... Help?!!
