    3. My maiden name was Norris. My g.great grandfather was called SAMUEL NORRIS born in Belfast in 1820, He married ELIZABETH PENNINGTON and they had a son called SAMUEL born 1849 in Belfast in the parish of St Anne's. In 1855 he started to have a family in Liverpool, in 1873 my grandfather was born, he was Frederick Norris, my dad was George Norris. In our recent tree we have, Harry, George Edward, Samuel, Jane , Betty, Laura. Elizabeth. It has taken me over 20 years to find him in Ireland and now I am stuck again, I can't find anything more about him. My grandmother, Elizabeth Brown used to sew sashes for the Orangemen in Liverpool. Samuel senior used to go off to the United States and it was rumoured that he had an extended family out there. Frederick, my grandfather, also used to go to the states, I have a record of him going to UTICA for work. If you can help me at all I would really appreciate it, I'm trying at the moment to locate a film that has the record of the ch! ristening in St Anne's, Belfast. The person that gave me that information is now offering further information for a price and is not willing to divulge the film number to me. However, I am sure that some day I will come across it, hopefully before the next twenty years. I am keeping my fingers crossed that perhaps you may be able to help with my Irish links, I look forward to hearing from you, Cheers, Christine
