Dear List, I am trying to find my gr. gr. grandmother Helen Broadley/Bradley who according to a gr. aunt was born in Ireland. All I know about her is her name and her address at the time of my gr. grandmother's birth (illegimate) in Clyde, Glasgow, 1862. I got the address from my gr. grandmother's registration of birth. The address given was 83 New Wynd in Clyde, Glasgow, so I checked the 1861 census for that address, Helen Broadley/Bradley was not present but at that exact address there was an Owen Bradley married, age 32 and born in Ireland. So I am assuming that Helen and Owen are related. I checked the rest of the microfilm but did not find Helen anywhere, I also checked the 1871 and 1881 census for Clyde, Glasgow without any luck finding either Helen or Owen. I checked Scots Origins for a marriage for Owen and didn't find one, so I guess he was married in Ireland somewhere. With so little information to go on I would appreciate any suggestions as to how to proceed in this search for my very elusive ancestors. Sincerely, Carol Deckers
