I am reseraching the family of my great-great-grandmother, Lucinda CUDMORE EGGERS, and I have recently been fortunate enough to view a copy of the marriage certificate of Lucinda's brother, Horatio, who was married in Co. Galway, Ireland, in 1846. Horatio Nelson CUDMORE EGGERS (aged 21) married Jane Hannah CURRY (aged 20) at Ballinasloe, in the parish of Kilclooney, Co. Galway, on 19 November 1846. Both Horatio and Jane were resident of Ballinasloe at the time of their marriage, and Horatio was a printer by trade (his father, Paul CUDMORE EGGERS, of Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, was also a printer/compositor.) Jane's father was William CURRY, a coach agent. The witnesses to the marriage were Margaret Ann CURRY and Patrick Augustus EGAN. If anyone has any information on Horatio and Jane CUDMORE EGGERS (nee CURRY), and their descendants (if there were any), I would be most grateful to hear about them !
