Hi, I'm looking for some help in locating info. on my g.g.grandfather William Stuart Major. He was born on 24.9.1836 in Fermoy, his father William Major(soldier). He joined the 18th Reg. of the Royal Irish in 1850 and after a distinguished career ended up in England. He married and eventually settled in Wales.
