I found when I got XP, a lot of CD's or programs are not compatible that I used for Windows 98. What you need to do is find the upgrade/patch for the program to make it compatible with XP. Most programs have supplied the necessary upgrade/patches to make your Windows 98 programs work with XP because it would be too expensive to replace all the programs you have. What program does the CD use to view the CD? Then go from there and find the upgrade or patch that is needed. Word of warning, some programs do not have upgrades or patches because they want you to buy the updated version. Hope this help you.
