Hello I have been trying for years to find something about my grandfather John FAYNE. According to his marriage cert. he would have been born 1880/1 Family lore has it he was Irish and as I can not find anything on GRO I assume that to be correct. He was married in Wilts England in 1909, had 2 sons there and then his widow remarried in 1916. His father's name was James and both were involved with horses - jockey -trainers - groom.
