Hello from a wet Brisbane, I've just joined the list and thought I'd post my brickwall. I'm looking for my g.g.grandmother, Sarah NEWELL. She was born in Newbliss, Monaghan in 1822 and by February 1851 was in Adelaide, South Australia marrying my g.g.grandfather Robert Salkeld CARRUTHERS. Her second son was John Salkeld CARRUTHERS born in 1853 in Maitland NSW. He married Sarah Jane WADE in Dungog, NSW in January 1882. Sarah J's mother was Sarah Ann NEWELL from County Cavan who born in 1829. I think the two Sarahs were cousins but can't find any links other than coincidence. Can anyone on list help fill the gaps?
