I've been researching the LEACH surname assuming that my grandparents were correct in saying they were told their ancestors were from Ireland. My paternal ancestors were from Scotland and settled in Ohio in 1722 so the LEACH/Ireland connection makes some sense. However, I don't see anyone else on the Irish mailing list searching for the LEACH surname. Is anyone else on this list searching LEACH background from Ireland? Thanks!
