I am looking for information on SHEERIN What I do know James SHEERIN married Martha LENDRUM ,the Lendrums had been on Innishbiggle and Achill since the 1700's , but James was not born there.James died 1905 age 73 buried Dugort as is Martha who died 1917. theyhad nine children, James was a schoolteacher and farmer .Lived Innishbiggle, co Mayo ALEXANDER-born 1856- who emigrated to Australia in 1876 GEORGE PATRICK-born 1857-found on 1881 census as living London-married Margaret Ellen ATKINSON from Dugort at St Thomas in 1888 (one son known George) MARY ANN born 1863-emigrated with a brother to Australia, but died 3 weeks later. JAMES- born 1864-emigrated Australia ANDREW- born 1865-emigrated Australia MARGARET JANE- born 1866-married into the COLE family KATHERINE SYDNEY-born 1870-remained a single lady Two other children known but not birth dates or what happened to them LILY (ELIZABETH?) WILLIAM What I dont know Where James the father was born/where did he come from? where George, Lily and William went /married/ lived/died?
