Hi Linda, Yes I am in the US and I have worked on this line for years and I have my McCarron line back to 1796 when my ggrandfather, George was born in Pa. but we have never been able to find out where. We find lots of McCarrons in Ireland but have not been able to put them together, legitimate or not. Thanks for your concern but don't give up. Marge
