I am searching for Murray's and Murphy's in County Sligo around the beginning of the 1800's. My great-grandfather Martin Murphy died somewhere between 1835 and 1861. He had a son Patrick, born in 1810, a son Martin (birthdate unknown) and a son John B. born about 1835. My great-grandfather Henry Murray had a daughter Ann(a) who was born in 1835. Henry Murray died after that date and prior to 1861. Ann Murray and Patrick Murphy's marriage certificate lists Henry's occupation as "shoemaker". They were married in Manchester, England. I have a marriage certificate verifying that. I know nothing about the wives of these two great-grandfathers. I have done research myself in Sligo, but found nothing on them.
